I'm a professional singer and fiddle player and mom living in Oakley, California with my hubby John and daughter Savannah.
Biography
I have loved to live in the Bay Area since 1996, not just because of its wonderous cultural diversity and live entertainment options, but because this area provides multitudinous destinations in which to acquire the best cheese or coffee beans that the working person can afford. It is true that I am easily pleased, and you will find this as I lay down my experiences in The Golden Blog.
This blog was created for myself, mostly, as I have not been successful in journaling on paper. Furthermore, since I travelled for the past 8 years with the celtic-folk band, Golden Bough www.goldenboughmusic.com, I was looking to post stories and pictures for those interested in what the band (and my cats) were up to. Now it seems to be all about little Savannah...and will sometime include more about playing fiddle.
Interests
however, i love playing the fiddle because it makes people happy, and at home i work to make a great cappucino because it makes me happy. having birthed our first kiddo in early oct '05, and hanging out at the end of the day with my best friend/hubby john and little savannah. finally, i have always had a keen interest in filling my moments with increased love and service- this is accomplished through ceasleess prayer., my favorite interest is now all about bringing up our new 'permanent houseguest'. interests also playing with sidewalk chalk, watering the garden, rehearsing with golden bough for a gig.
